 Dr. John B. Houck is a licensed clinical psychologist with
over 25 years of experience. Dr. Houck is proficient in a wide variety of techniques and
treatment modalities, and is fluent in both Spanish and German. He is a member of the
American Psychological Association, the International Transactional Analysis Association,
the Illinois Psychological Association, the Chicago Association for Psychoanalytic
Psychology, and a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.Dr. Houck offers free screening for anxiety, depression, and eating disorders in conjunction with national screening programs. He has offices in the Chicago Loop, Hyde Park, and in Northbrook, where he consults individuals, couples and families about emotional, relational and spiritual issues. There are weekly groups for people who want support in making life changes, and a monthly group for couples.
